In vitro study | Ceftriaxone sodium trihydrate is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a broad spectrum of in vitro activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, aerobic bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria. Both penicillin-sensitive or resistant strains, Staphyococcus aureus, were sensitive to Ceftriaxone (MIC90, 2 to 8 mg/L), but the drug was poorly active against methicillin-or oxacillin-resistant strains. For Streptococcus pyogenes , Creftriaxone has similar antibacterial activity to penicillins and other cephalosporins, and has good activity against other Streptococcus bacteria at low concentrations. Staphylococcus epidermidis was only moderately sensitive to Creftriaxone, whereas Streptococcus faecalis was resistant to Ceftriaxone. The antibacterial activity of Ceftriaxone was generally better than that of cefoperazone against gram-negative bacilli, and was similar to that of cefotaxime and lactamoxifen. Most Enterobacteroacae had 90% of the tested strains inhibited by Ceftriaxone at a concentration of <1 mg/L. The reported inhibitory activity of Creftriaxone against Pseudomonas aeruginosa varies greatly, but usually to inhibit most strains, a concentration of at least 32 mg/L is required, so it is more important for Pseudomonas aeruginosa than aminoglycosides, aztreonam, imipenem, cefoperazone, ceftazidime have low activity. And several other Bacteroides species, including B. fragilis, are moderately sensitive and resistant to Creftriaxone, but other anaerobic bacteria can be inhibited by the drug. Creftriaxone is stable to inactivation by β-lactamases produced by many bacteria, but B. Β-lactamases produced by fragilis or some Klebsiella strains, Proteus vulgaris, and Pseudomonas cepacia cause their inactivation. In general, the β-lactamase stability of Creftriaxone is similar to that of cefotaxime and cefamfuroxime. |

Abstract:
patient male, 46 years old. For reason of frequent micturition, urgent micturition and dysuria for 3 days, the patient visited the hospital on February 16, 2004. Physical examination: body temperature 37.4 ℃, lower abdominal tenderness. Laboratory examination: urine routine test: WBC20-30/HP, RBC1-4/HP, BLD( ); Otherwise normal. Diagnosis: urinary tract infection. The patient was given ceftriaxone sodium 2.0g/d ivgtt and was advised not to drink alcohol during the treatment. At 5:00 pm the next day, the patient left for reason of having no medication for the same night.

Abstract:
Title: ceftriaxene sodium (ceftriaxene) is one of the most widely used third-generation cephalosporins in clinical practice. It has a wide spectrum of antibacterial and good stability to most β-lactamases, longer half-life, especially for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. With the increasing use of ceftriaxone sodium in the treatment of patients with severe infections, more and more attention has been paid to adverse reactions. In this paper, the reports of adverse reactions of ceftriaxone sodium provided by ADR center in our hospital in the past two years were statistically analyzed. In order to provide medical and nursing staff medication reference.

Abstract:
objective to investigate the clinical efficacy of Shiwei gentianhua granules combined with ceftriaxone sodium in the treatment of elderly Community Acquired Pneumonia. Methods patients (92 cases) with Community Acquired Pneumonia in Shangqiu Fifth People's Hospital from August 2016 to August 2017 were divided into control (46 cases) and treatment (46 cases) groups based on different medication. Patients in the control group were IV administered with ceftriaxone sodium for injection, 2 g added into normal saline 100 mL,2 times/d; Patients in the treatment group were given oral administration of Shiwei gentianhua granules, 3g/time, 3 times/d. Two groups of patients were treated for 7 days. After treatment, the clinical efficacies were evaluated, and the improvement time of clinical symptoms and serological indexes before and after treatment in two groups were compared. Results after treatment, the clinical efficacies in the control and treatment groups were 80.43% and 95.65%, respectively, and there were differences between two groups (P0.05). After treatment, the disappearance time of Fever, Expectoration and Pulmonary rales in the treatment group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, with significant difference between two groups (P0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum C- reactive protein (CRP),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and calcitonin (PCT) in two groups were significantly decreased, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P0.05). And the serological indexes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with significant difference between two groups (P0.05). Conclusion Shiwei gentianhua granules combined with ceftriaxone sodium for injection has significant curative effect in treatment of elderly Community Acquired Pneumonia, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, and reduce the inflammatory response, which has a certain clinical application value.

Abstract:
A new spectrophotometric method was established by studying the reaction between ceftriaxone sodium and Fe3 + and determining the optimal reaction conditions. Ceftriaxone sodium and Fe3 + can form a stable complex at room temperature, the complex has a maximum absorption at 470 nm, the apparent molar absorptivity was 1.5 × 103 L/(mol · cm), and the linear range was 0.05-0.60 mg/L. The method was applied to the determination of ceftriaxone sodium, and the results were basically consistent with those obtained by Chinese Pharmacopoeia method. The relative standard deviation was 0.63%, and the recovery was 99.2%-99.5%.
